The Rosebery Mine in Tasmania, a polymetallic underground mine, in operation since 1936, which has current potential to extend life beyond 2030.
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced administrator to primarily assist with all administrative duties across the Maintenance and Processing teams at Rosebery.
Reporting to the Electrical Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administration, communication, scheduling, general reporting, presentation, and travel support to the Maintenance and Processing team onsite. You will also be responsible for coordinating site visits and functions, maintaining log books/registers, ordering supplies, invoicing, and other general administration duties.
As a successful incumbent you have the ability to work with minimum supervision, operating confidentially and with discretion. You will demonstrate strong initiative and work ethics through the quality of your work and outcomes by meeting deadlines and managing your tasks with a sense of urgency.
Important to the role will be:
- Strong administration experience, preferably site based
- A high level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite and exceptional administrative skills
- Knowledge of SAP as an expense management system
- Knowledge of Rosebery Mine and the local community
- Experience with a site-access management system
- Domestic travel booking and coordination
- Document management experience
Most importantly you will have a high level of oral and written communication skills and your ability to perform under pressure, to analyse, problem-solve and operate autonomously. To be considered, you’ll demonstrate experience in providing primary administrative support to a comparable mining or construction site.
This role is based on 5/2 residential roster.
