The Rosebery Mine in Tasmania, a polymetallic underground mine, Rosebery is 100% owned by MMG Limited and is in operation since 1936, which has current potential to extend life beyond 2030. The operation employs around 430 employees and contractors on a local residential basis.

Supervisor - Processing - Rosebery Mines, Tasmania
Reporting to the Superintendent - Processing, this role will lead a processing team to optimise plant performance and ensure that production targets are consistently achieved.
Be responsible to maintain appropriate manning levels for plant operation and drive safety, production and continuous improvement programs, setting clear requirements and targets for the team.
Manage the operation of the Rosebery processing plant safely and efficiently to deliver on all financial and operational business plans.
As the Team Lead, you will coach and develop your team towards achieving the goals and financial outcomes for Rosebery mine as well as the Objective, Mission and Vision of MMG. Your experience in leadership will assist Rosebery in its ongoing cultural change.
Create and maintain an energetic Processing Operations team that focuses on the deliverables of Safety, volume and Cost within the processing area in line with yearly budgets and life of asset plans.
This is a permanent position working on a residential based role working an even time roster of 7 days on, 7 days off and includes night shift.
Suitable degree qualification and complimentary certificates
To be successful in the position we ideally require;
A strong work ethic, safety leadership, extensive experience in minerals processing with significant time spent in a base metals flotation plant and be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar leadership or supervisory position.
A strong communicator with a proven track record of motivating, mentoring and developing teams of operators and a strong understanding of maintenance activities and scheduling.
A pro-active approach to driving process improvements, sound commercial awareness, excellent relationship skills and proven capability to deliver successful processing production improvement outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
