We are looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Deputy General Manager: Africa Business Development whose role is Management of exploration activities, tenements and the development of options that add value to the MMG business in Africa. These would include near mine (Kinsevere), the DRC and regional opportunities. This is a full-time position
Manage exploration and mining concessions, as well as any Mining title and permit or application affecting the security of an exploration or mining concession, to comply with legislative and other obligations.
Identify and progress options to that grow the value of MMG’s African business through exploration, joint ventures or mergers and acquisitions.
Manage project and development studies through the pre-feasibility phases.
Minimum 10 years experience in the mining industry;
Experience in designing and implementing a business development strategy.
Postgraduate degree in mining engineering or equivalent;
English language skills, with French or Mandarin desirable.
