MMG Dugald River - Surveying Cadetship Program

MMG’s cadetship program combines work and study across a structured four-year (full-time equivalent) program that provides hands-on learning, while completing a Bachelor of Spatial Science Technology (Surveying).

Throughout this program, you will receive industry exposure and allows you to acquire experience in different facets of the organisation while allowing for exposure to MMG’s processes, technologies, and leaders.

Your growth is integral to the program and the majority of the learning takes place on the job. It focuses primarily on increasing self-awareness, learning from others and developing critical competencies for ongoing success.

• Induction program to introduce you to the company, functions, peers, managers, and leaders
• Ongoing activities to share each other’s knowledge, experiences, ideas and feedback
• Contribution to projects and exposure to our Senior Leadership team
• Specific skills development trainings, on various technologies as well as soft skills
• Career mentoring providing guidance in preparing for your professional life

Successful cadets will receive on-site mentoring, roster flexibility to support work and study balance, the potential to receive up to 50% financial education assistance toward your degree and a competitive salary across the four-year program.

The Program will provide you with an outstanding opportunity to produce results, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong network within the organisation as well as the wider Mining industry.

We invite applications from students graduating in 2023 and early 2024 in the following disciplines from recognised universities within Australia

• Current graduate students from University of Southern Queensland
