Accountabilities / Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing the environmental system for studies team in alignment with Kinsevere environmental Management systems.
• Managing the development and implementation of environmental action plan for studies, to ensure compliance with SSHE Standard, environmental legislation and best international practices.
• Assist in the coordination of field personnel and contractors to ensure works are completed.
• Provide technical input into the development of environmental policies, guidelines and procedures, Supervise all Environmental activities.
• Conduct environmental inspections; participate to review environmental procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Acceptable level of written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop, issue and monitor KPI’s to meet department targets.
• Effective communicator
Skills
• Professional Software: feflow、GMS、visual modflow、MODFLOW Flex
EFDC、MIKE、Delft3D、Qual2K、SMS or similar
• Computer skills (Power Point, Word, excel)
• Good communication skills (with local)
• English, French and Swahili language skills (critical)Strong analytical skills
Knowledge
• Knowledge of international Mining Projects
• Knowledge of Mining Study & Reports
• Knowledge of related international standards
• Knowledge of Mine Management (water, tailings, wastes)
• Knowledge of environmental, Safety,Health Management
• Knowledge of ESIA report audit
Experience
5+ years' experience in mining industry as an environmental related role or above
Education, Qualifications, Tickets, Licences
- Degree in environmental discipline or equivalent
- High standard of language skills, particularly speaking and writing skills.
- English, French and Swahili language skills (critical)
