Our Sepon operation in southern Lao PDR is now seeking an experienced Pilot to join our team.
Reporting to the Superintendent Technical Advisor – Logistics, you will play a critical role in safely transporting passengers to and from site. Additionally, your key areas of responsibility include:
- Flight schedule planning and ensuring schedules are adhered to
- Providing flexible and innovative flight solutions in the face of bad weather or aircraft unserviceability
- Contributing to the continuously improvement of Aviation Standards, and ensuring compliance
- Deliver on KPIs and reporting requirements
- Ensuring air and ground staff are appropriately trained to international standards through one-on-one coaching and class-room style training.
You hold a commercial Pilot's licence with Instructor rating, and have over 1500 hours accrued as Pilot in Command. You possess sound knowledge of aviation standards in the mining industry and Lao DCA Regulations. As a safety conscious leader, you ensure your crew have the all skills and training they need to deliver a safe and reliable service to passengers. Having worked in foreign countries previously you are culturally adaptive and respectful, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with to develop the skills of others.
This is a three year fixed term position and is residential based in Vientiane Laos, with a 5 days on/2 days off roster. An attractive remuneration package and incentive program is on offer and relocation assistance will also be provided if required.
