Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is:

• Training: to train concentrator staff on how to use the instrumentation.
• Instrument management: Ensure online instrument normal operation.
• Quality management: Ensure/guide the quality for sampling and testing data.
• Data audit: to prepare & audit the accuracy of test reports.
• Process support: Assist to improve concentrator production.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• To organize training concentrator staff on how to operate online grade analyzer.
• To maintain the normal operation for the online instruments.
• To provide key indicators (slurry concentration, recovery, grade) timely.
• To assist the analysis for abnormal production case.
• To organize data analysis and statistics.
• To carry out sample management.
• To Support the optimization of production processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• To improve the online-instrument integration with existing control system and PI system.
• Complete other temporary or special tasks assigned by superiors.

Skills

• Lab instrument operation skill.
• Online grade analyzer commissioning.
• Trouble shooting.
• Ability to work in multi-culture environment.
• English language communication ability.
• Mandarin advantage.

Knowledge

• SHE management knowledge.
• Chemical engineering.
• Flotation background knowledge.

Experience

• More than 8 years’ experience in online grader analyser operation & testing.
• More than 8 years’ experience in lab work.

Education, Qualifications, Tickets, Licences

• Chemistry, Metallurgy or Ore Processing related major.
• Bachelor degree.
