Our group office has a vacancy for a global Project Director, SAP on a fixed term basis for two (2) years. Reporting to the Senior Manager for Information Technology, this fixed term role is a key and influential leadership position within corporate and business services. With our demonstrable history of achievement, including the acquisition of the Las Bambas project and the Khoemacau mine, you'll be part of a global resources company that thinks big and delivers results.
With the primary purpose being the provision of expert strategic advice and project leadership in our transition through the SAP ECC platform, this role guides our global enterprise technology roadmap and journey. Working across our Executive Team, Business Managers, Operational Leaders and Technology Groups, the role will be pivotal in our decisions. Key to success is balancing a growth focus with a cost focus, to establish a sustainable and scalable technology platform.
This a rare opportunity for a thought leader with the agility to operate across both a ‘design management’ and ‘programme management’ mindset. To be considered, applicants must have extensive IT programme management experience, ideally with ERP delivery experiences in SAP ECC or SAP S4/HANNA environments. Strong commercial skills, business acumen and the ability to engage corporate and operational stakeholders are essential. Finally, candidates who have been instrumental in the business decisions behind ERP improvement programs or migrations will be viewed favourably.
This position is located in Melbourne, and the role will involve domestic and international travel to our operations and support offices.
