MMG Kinsevere is seeking an experienced Congolese to develop and implement its exploration strategy in the DRC. Reporting to the Exploration Manager – DRC, he will lead regional and near-mine exploration, from target generation through resource definition and project handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver exploration strategies, annual plans and multiyear project portfolios.

  • Provide technical leadership for drilling, mapping, geochemistry, geophysics, geological modelling and project evaluation.

  • Identify, assess and prioritise exploration prospects, advancing targets to drilling and resource definition.

  • Approve technical programme designs and changes within delegated authority.

  • Manage programme performance, budgets, schedules, contractors and resource allocation.

  • Maintain technical standards, quality controls and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

  • Manage safety, health, environmental, community, land access, operational and technical risks.

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor national geologists and provide technical advice to management.
