IT/OT COORDINATOR
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION
The IT/OT Coordinator will be responsible for participating in the network planning and designing of the second phase of the MMG-Khoemacau Mine Project. The role will be responsible for assisting in building the network infrastructure for smart mines, and taking part in project implementation, acceptance and operation preparation. It will also assist in formulating network security plans to ensure the security of IT/OT networks and engaging in the planning and construction of the mine wireless communication system.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your key accountabilities include
- Participating in the network planning and designing of the Phase II MMG-Khoemacau Mine Project and assisting in building the basic network platform for the smart mine.
- Taking part in project implementation, commissioning, acceptance and delivery to ensure the project is completed on schedule and with high quality.
- Assisting in preparations for system operations, formulation of workflows and handover procedures.
- Helping in formulating the overall network security plan for MMG-Khoemacau to ensuring compliance with MMG-Khoemacau network security standards.
- Assisting in implementing security measures including IT/OT network boundary protection, access control, vulnerability management and emergency response.
- Engaging in the planning, designing, construction and optimization of the mine wireless communication system.
- Participating in the planning and designing of the data centre computer room and servers for MMG-Khoemacau.
- Cooperating with MMG Group and Africa Region IT teams in the installation, configuration and maintenance of infrastructure.
- Providing technical support and resolving faults promptly to minimising system downtime.
- Coordinating with external suppliers and assisting in managing the delivery quality of equipment and services.
- Ensuring all IT/OT operations are complying with industry regulations, mine requirements and company policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- Management Diploma (MDP) or equivalent management diploma programs.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in IT and OT of which 5 years of this experience should have been on IT management, preferably in the mining sector

The Document Controller will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of project documentation for expansion projects, including receipt, coding, distribution, storage, archiving, and handover. Establishing and maintaining a project document management system to ensure document control is standardized, secure and traceable thereby supporting smooth project execution and delivery.
GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for providing geotechnical engineering expertise and support for underground and surface mining operations and projects. The role will be responsible for ground stability assessments, the design of ground support systems, monitoring and data analysis. It will also ensure safe, efficient and sustainable mine development in compliance with MMG-Khoemacau’s safety and environmental standards conservation outcomes through scientifically rigorous offset design, habitat restoration, and stakeholder collaboration.
SENIOR EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST

The Senior Exploration Geologist will be responsible for contributing across all phases of exploration from greenfield early stage through to brownfield exploration targets, up to resource definition ensuring that KCM resource growth and development objectives are achieved throughout the project lifecycles.
