MMG Dugald River is one of the world’s top 10 Zinc mine operations, which has been producing zinc concentrate for customers around the world since 2017. 

Dugald River employs around 750 employees and contractors on a mix of fly-in, fly-out and local residential basis. 

Underground Service Crew  

We currently have a fantastic career opportunity available for a Service Crew technician to join our Mining team at Dugald River Mine.  

Reporting to the Supervisor - Mining, you will carry out the safe and efficient service works to support other mining activities. 

This role is based on 8 days on and 7 days off, 7 nights on and 6 days off roster, drive in drive out from Cloncurry or Mount Isa. FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane may be considered for exceptional candidates. 

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience 

• A current C Class Licence. 

• Minimum two years of mining experience in an underground hard rock environment. 

• A broad range of experience working with heavy machinery is desirable. 

• Compliance with all HS&E policies and procedures including reporting, and best practice for the areas of underground mining service works. 

• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical. 

• Competency of Working at Heights. 

• IT (Integrated Tool Carrier) ticket or relevant RPL’s – desirable.
