Rosebery is located on Tasmania's west coast in close proximity to Strahan and a couple of hours drive from Burnie and Devonport. Rosebery offers exceptional outdoor experiences with fishing, canoeing, white water rafting, rock climbing and walking at your doorstep.
Process Operator
We are currently seeking an experienced Process Operator to join our Processing team based at Rosebery Mine in Tasmania.
Reporting to the Supervisor Processing, you will provide safe operational support in the production of Zinc, Lead, Copper concentrates and Gold Dore.
Key Accountabilities (however not limited too)
- Ensure the efficient operation of the Processing Plant
- Working through production issues with the Supervisor Processing to ensure compliance with strategy, targets and reporting
- Accurate reporting of daily logs and shift notes, and recording any variances
- Maintain constant surveillance of assigned work stations to ensure effective and efficient operations of the plant in a safe manner.
- Ensuring hazards and sources of loss associated with the process are identified, evaluated and controlled.
- Adherence at all times to the MMG Code of Conduct. Comply with MMG’s values of Safety, Integrity, Action, and Results which form the basis of, and underpin all MMG’s business relationships
About You
- An unwavering commitment to safe work practices
- Previous plant operation experience
- Forklift, Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space tickets desirable
- The ability to work with others to achieve all required outcomes
- Basic computing skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
