ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of the mine’s electrical and utility infrastructure. This role will ensure that critical support services and fixed plant systems remain available and fit for purpose to support mining, processing, site services and business continuity.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your key accountabilities include:
- Maintaining fixed plant equipment and infrastructure, facilities and overseeing the electrical team comprising of various supervisors.
- Budgeting, planning and controlling, cost estimates, forecasts and capital expenditure requests.
- Developing Electrical equipment scope, evaluating tenders and ensuring quality management plans.
- Ensuring adherence to the maintenance management plan systems of work.
- Setting up Centralised Maintenance Management System and related procedures.
- Analysing Equipment Performance and evaluating maintenance program effectiveness.
- Developing and establishing quality assurance (QA) and inspection procedures.
- Developing and maintaining quality best fit Service Level Agreement standards in the delivery of maintenance services in accordance with contracts and agreements.
- Maintaining the critical strategic spares inventory and taking appropriate action to ensure ongoing availability.
- Analysing equipment performance through various means including condition monitoring and inspections.
- Evaluating maintenance program effectiveness, investigating equipment failures and developing action plans and schedules to eliminate repetitive failures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Registered with the Engineers Registration Board of Botswana.
- Experience in electrical infrastructure projects, upgrades, and technical improvements
- Valid Senior High Voltage Switching qualification / awareness training will be an added advantage.

The Water Services Supervisor will be responsible for safe, efficient, and compliant operation, maintenance and supervision of all site water services infrastructure, including raw water supply, potable water treatment, dewatering system, and wastewater management.
MECHANICAL FOREMAN

The Mechanical Foreman - Process Plant will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical maintenance activities within the processing plant to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of fixed plant equipment.
