VENDOR LIAISON COORDINATOR

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:

The role of the Vendor Liaison Coordinator is to ensure that MMG-Khoemacau derives maximum value from its external cost. This is accomplished through structured market engagements and ongoing category and contract stewardship.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Formulating a vendor liaison strategy, organising and completing vendors activities, relating to the procurement task of machinery / materials / electrical equipment or equipment on time and in good faith.
• Responsible for the full life cycle management of supplier inspection, access, evaluation, evaluation and exit, building a supply service system, and maintaining business-to-consumer relations.
• Maintaining good commercial cooperation with suppliers by actively communicating fully with suppliers and tracking the status of orders in a timely manner to ensure timely and guaranteed delivery and giving timely feedback on delivery to the production site.
• Following up on various commodities purchased by Conducting quality supervision of production and processes involving non-standard parts, accepting delivery of goods, and stationary follow-up treatment where there is a delivery risk.
• Co-operating with port storage, shipment and receipt of purchased goods; Coordinating with procurement settlement, payments, etc.
• Cooperating with the department to resolve issues related to procurement orders, material planning, supplier management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in arts, a diploma in English will be an added advantage.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• Priority is given to candidates with work experience in non-ferrous mines, including but not limited to mechanical equipment management operational services, design selection, etc.
• More than 10 years’ experience in mining procurement
